When I think of 75 Gardner Rd I also think of the two families, two brothers and two sisters living together in the same house for more than 40 years. I was personally attracted to the great 100 Seeburg record player in Uncle Fred's sunroom, the aquarium in his den and the huge doll collection. Sophie Letcher made a composite image of the dolls for her "ancestry" school project.

I know there were times, mainly in my teens, that the family gatherings were a little too much. But looking back with a new perspective I think we all were very fortunate to have had a big extended family.

I remember Uncle Fred's wonderful miniature collection. I could spend hours in the room just looking at the tiny tables and candles and such.
And the Chanukah/Christmas gatherings where Fred would sit up by the fireplace and give out presents to both sides of the family.
Shame it didn't go on longer but I appreciate the years we had.

Yes..I remember Friday night dinners at Grandpas house...and yes I probably thought they were fun until I was old enough. My favorite rooms were the sunroom and the jungle room where we used to throw our coats. I have Grandmas little white box that held lollipops in my kitchen and yes..it does have its fond memories.
